The following phase of this method of evaluation is taken of the way to evaluate in a SPORTS COMPETITION; since it’s been verified that this is the better way to maintain fairness and avoid favoritism. So high and low scores will be thrown.

• Each Judge will register his/her score.
• While the following contestant develops her/their performance the 2 Score Keepers will verify and register the scores of all 5 judges.
• After this they will eliminate the lowest and highest score, adding the total of points and dividing them among 3, in this manner the FINAL SCORE is obtained.

Example:  5 Judges summit their scores like this:
JUDGE #1:
4 POINTS Technical
2 POINTS musical Interpretation
1 POINTS scenic Development and expression
0 POINTS Choreography
1 POINTS Image
SCORE:  8

JUDGE #2:  SCORE   10
JUDGE #3:  SCORES  9
JUDGE #4:  SCORES  9
JUDGE #5:  SCORES  6

Therefore we eliminate scores of JUDGE #2 by offering the HIGHEST SCORE and of  JUDGE #5 by offering the LOWEST SCORE.  Next we add the 3 remaining scores giving a "TOTAL OF POINTS" of 26 points.  This TOTAL OF POINTS is divided among 3 (Judges that remain) and gives us a "FINAL SCORE" of 8.66

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE FINAL SCORES IN EACH ROUND OF THE PROFESIONAL LEVEL CATEGORY?
 • The final scores obtained in the 2 rounds are added and divided by 2 thus giving us a new FINAL SCORE to name the winners of the category.

WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF A TIE?
• Total of Points will be evaluated without throwing high or low scores.
• After fact this procedure will resort ti the support and applauses of the audience where the President of the Jury will make a final decision.
